WHAT IS OUR VISION
We work with industry, educators and the government to provide advice, guidance and expertise on the implementation of robust AI. We work with public perception to ensure everyone, from developers to users, can understand the complexities of AI and its effects on them as individuals and on society as a whole. Within our interdisciplinary team, we discuss AI across different fields and work with the philosophical and psychological principles that underpin human-centered AI.
Founder
Dr Marie Oldfield is the Director of Oldfield Consultancy, Head of FractAI and the creator and founder of the Professional AI Accreditation, AI Frameworks and AI Methodology.
Dr Marie Oldfield, CStat, CSci, SFHEA, APAI, FIScT is a keynote speaker and published expert in AI.
Dr Oldfield is a recognised, published AI and Ethics Expert, serving as a trusted advisor across government, defence, and legal sectors. Dr Oldfield works at the forefront of ethical AI, acting as liaison for AI policy and standards both nationally and internationally.
Dr Oldfield is passionate about giving back to the global community through extensive pro bono work, with a focus on ethical AI, education, poverty, children and mental health.
Co-Founder
As a Director of FractalAI, I am proud to be making positive contributions to the direction of AI research and safety in the UK. I hold a master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Gothenburg with a specialisation in European digital law and its relationship to emerging technologies like AI and blockchain. I am also the founder of NoWare Consultancy, which helps start-ups and small businesses in Sweden stay compliant in the fast-changing world of digital regulation.
